However, sources indicate that the Milwaukee Bucks might prefer a trade package centered around dynamic guard Jalen Green instead.

Why Houston Makes Sense for Giannis

The Rockets finished this season as the No. 2 seed in the West, powered by one of the league’s top defensive units. But their playoff run exposed a glaring need for a go-to offensive star, especially in the half-court. Giannis would fill that void immediately while preserving Houston’s elite defensive identity. His ability to dominate in transition and create offense inside the arc would perfectly complement the Rockets’ young core and fast-paced system.

Houston has the trade flexibility to construct a competitive offer. In addition to Sengun or Green, forward Jabari Smith Jr. is expected to be involved in any serious discussions.
